It's so good. While it has obvious inspirations from Sauvage and Carbon, the overall scent dries down to an amber base that is deliciously augmented by the black pepper and aromatic notes. I'm usually someone who doesn't like Amber and other warm notes. But the balance between warm and aromatic is spot on in Kuro. It's desirable. It's confident. It's masculine, it has an edge and it has a considerable amount of depth.

I blind bought it based on youtube and community reviews and truly regret it. I can't comment on the similarity to Sauvage, but it's pretty soft and weak. It smells good and longevity is 5-6 hours on skin, 1-2 hours more on clothes. But it sucks on projection and sillage. I am pretty new in my fragrance journey and learning things the hard way. Money down the drain. Update: I tried it again after few months and was shocked on how good it smelled. I don't know what changed but this is much sharper, stronger and pleasant smelling. I am totally loving it now. The longevity and sillage have also improved. I am starting to like it now.
